Tiny update

Donations have still been creeping in, but not at a fast rate for this to happen very soon.

Couple of minor achievements:
-Ate 2lbs. of a carnitas plate with tortillas, cilantro, onions. Enough to make 20 tacos. Took me somewhere between 1.5-2 hours to eat. Made me feel ill for about a day...
-Average eating 4-5 tacos whenever I go to a mexican restaraunt. Ate about 5 for dinner and 5 for lunch last week at a camping trip.

Hi

Hey folks,
I've pondered over this for quite some time, but never manned up for this. I am looking for donations for "100 Tacos for 100 Dollars." It's a phrase coined by Bart Simpson many years ago, but only to be fulfilled by Comic Book Guy to suffice his Dr. Who marathon. I, by myself, plan to do this in one day, probably impossible to do in a course of one sitting. It will be filmed and well documented i.e. nutritional info, health problems, etc. If I survive I will try and work off all the weight gained, which will be well documented as well. I've lost 18lbs in a few months before and I'll do it again. I realize there are other health issues here, but thats not the point. Point is "I can sure for for 100 tacos." I am asking for donations ($1 max) to make this happen. Also, I will be wheel barrowing this out to my car.

Some rules:
1. One full day to eat 100 tacos
2. Bathroom breaks allowed
3. Cannot eat anything else except tacos (sauce/drinks allowed)
4. Nap breaks allowed
5. Must be exactly 100 Tacos for or near $100.
(Jack In The Box sells 2 tacos for $1 which would not be allowed, but their Monster Tacos are $1)
6. Tacos must be eaten with whatever is originally on the menu (I cannot take any toppings off or add anything extra. If it comes with sauce I eat the sauce.)
7. $1 max donations

The Taco
There are 2 types of tacos that I would be considering.
1. Hard shell
2. Soft corn tortillas

Hard shells are what a lot of people are used to seeing and eating at horrible places such as Taco Bell, Del Taco (not that bad actually), Jimboy's TacosDel Mar Taco etc. Typical hard shells are corn tortillas deep fried into a U shape with ground beed, tomatoes, green lettuce, cheese, and onions like this disgusting pile right here:

Then you have the tacos sent from the Taco gods. 2 corn tortillas usually with whatever kind of meat you want (I prefer carnitas that have the cripsy edges and a juicy center), white onions, cilantro, and red or green hot sauce/tomatillo/whatever. Behold:

I would prefer some real taqueria tacos that serve Taco type 2 in San Jose or in/around the Bay Area, CA and not fast food tacos, but I can't find any taquerias that has them for $1. Some taco trucks might, but don't stock that many tortillas. Let me know if you do know!

I will start within a week (on a weekend) once donations have been capped. This will allow me to prepare for the taco onslaught.

*FOR EVERY TACO I DO NOT EAT I WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY BACK.*

Donations vs. Refunds

The goal here is to eat 100 Tacos for 100 Tacos (at $1 max donations). I will post a list of names who donated in the received order. If I only eat 80 tacos out of 100 that means I need to refund $20 back. How will I refund that money back? I will have a random number generator draw random numbers from 20 out of 100. Those 20 numbers will correspond to the numbered list of people who donated and will get refunded. If I eat all 100 tacos, well then I suffer on your people's donations :P

Here is a list of donations in received order.

2. Dave Q.
3. Dan C.
4. Chance B.
5. John L.
